Route of least resistance – law of opposites
In various places of the world there are forthcoming general elections again, so are in the Netherlands. The public media circus has started again in which politicians compete with their lies to see if they can lure people to them. New political parties are not granted access to the commercial media that finds its friends in those who have most to give. New initiatives can’t grow in the darkness below powerful structures and need to wait until they fall over.
Or they find the route of least resistance.
Well-being is located at exactly the opposite side of the human complexity model from chaos. In human evolution societies reach the state of chaos normally due to the inflexibility of a long period of greed. Wellness is something that people tend to want to keep conservatively, creating systems to preserve it against progress. Progress is risky and could put wellness in danger. Greed gradually appears in the systems.
So when people or institutions find themselves in or near the field of chaos they can do two things:
- Move back against the line of human evolution (clock wise circle) to get to wellness via greed. They would either have to become greedy to fit in (criminality, manipulation, aggression) or try to force their way through the massive opposition of hierarchies, bureaucracy and system rules. (the red line)
- Or choose the rout of least resistance through awareness, trust building, cooperation (the green line) and development of pre-paradigms until one breaks through to replace the old one.
Interestingly in the model the opposition between greed and spiritual awareness is also well visible in reality. The more greed develops in the system the more people oppose through spiritualization, still highly individual but with a gradual built up in the field of awareness. This group is also fed by people who follow the traditional line through chaos and search the enlightenment of conscious reflection when facing the aggression in chaos. They create renewal by proposing true alternatives.
The green line is the route of least resistance but needs the talent of organization and willingness of people to build a new, parallel society. People can group together and use the modern means of social and alternative media to communicate and build up sufficient strength against the organized dominance of greed. In the field of greed competition and self interest is high and deadly. It has the tendency to inflate as a bubble to explode into a crisis with chaos as a result. My people keep up powerful positions managing the old system out of self interest.
In the field of awareness the process is exactly opposite. People become so aware of themselves and society that they need to be challenged to join and become organized around progress. The more greed collapses into chaos, the stronger awareness can organize itself eventually into wellness.
The law of opposites rules here. When people claim in public that they want to go back into recent history because of the wealth of that moment they can try the difficult (impossible) or the easy way (complicated). The way back is the one in which no lessons are learned, no forward reflection takes place. There is a simple anxiety to relive something of the past. The way forward is the one where abundance of the past is learned from in perspective of the scarcity of today. Steps can be taken through awareness to develop a new society based on accumulated knowledge. The route of least resistance is the one of awareness, hence an inner one of reflection, and action based o trust in each other. Sustainable human progress hence has to do with applied knowledge in the warmth of social innovation. It can be applied, not by fighting the system of greed but by avoiding and even neglecting it, positioning your society building outside the dominant structures. If the latter are greedy for money, organize yourself without money.
Use the law of opposites and you will follow the green line without finding resistance.
The fifth dimension
When we refer to dimensions we can easily recognize the first three. The first dimension is a line between A and B. The second is perpendicular to the first referring to both as length and width, a flat space, like a drawing or piece of text on the screen. The floor on which we walk also. The third dimension adds depth to the picture. We have two eyes to be able to create 3D awareness with our brain.
We consider ourselves as beings that observe our surroundings in three dimensions. Length, width and depth. A pilot in an aircraft or helicopter has the complexity of dealing with this when trying to land. Our ears manage our equilibrium when we do the complex task of walking upright and balanced, a difficulty that has upset many engineers when trying to create a humanlike robot walking upright like us.
4th dimension?
What would be the fourth dimension? The mathematical logic of the existence of dimensions 1, 2 and 3 suggests that there would be a 4th and a 5th and more, just like our numbers. But what are they?
Some people look at geometrical continuation of the first three, using angles of 90 degrees to intersect with the previous ones. If you can draw a 3 dimensional cube on a 2 dimensional piece of paper then you can do the same with 4 dimensions in a 3 dimensional space. It is fun to see graphical artists and computers make wonderful figures out of this theory. It is suggested that we can even get a notion of the fourth dimension when it interacts with the first three. We imagine this when we consider a two dimensional space interact with a three dimensional object, just like a scanner that shows vertical slices of a body in a sequence. Visualizing the entire fourth dimension goes however beyond our perceptive reality people say. But is that true?
Time:
Another theory is that the fourth dimension is “time”. This makes sense because we seem to perceive the three dimensional images in sequences, just like a movie, memorizing the events chronologically. The only snag is that we perceive time within the confinement of our planet Earth in our solar system, using day and night of this revolving planet turning around the sun. This limitation would make the dimension only specific to our planet Earth while the others are universal. Einstein did an attempt to define time universally in space. We could also use the Big Bang as a point of reference for that matter. Still it is difficult to universally use “time” as a concept of universal perception unless we refer to it from a spatial understanding and hence it cannot easily represent the fourth dimension.
Death:
Other people refer to the fourth dimension as the spiritual state before birth and after death, a kind of intermediate stage between our carnal three dimensional life and full spiritual existence after this pulgatory. God is often refered to as the 10th dimension with underneath a hierarchy of spiritual levels that at an early stage use the carnal life for spiritual learning purposes. Positioning God at such high dimensional level would suggest that we have to search our dimension not in the physical space of materials or chronological sequences but in levels of consciousness. A type of universal wisdom in layers of perception and awareness.
This would suggest the existance of parallel universes as also suggested by those who find evidence of a fourth dimension in magnetism. If we observe the amount of two dimensional objects within a three dimensional space we see that many do not even coincide. There are infinite ways of coinciding and non coinciding posibilities. They hence are not aware of their parallel existence unless a new dimension is added. Why couldn’t there be infite numbers of three dimensional parallel universes within the fourth dimension?
Fifth dimension:
I leave this fourth dimension for you to figure out and would like to propose a reality for the fifth dimension. This one I call our “higher awareness”, a state of mind where we break loose from our animal evolution of awareness and origins and become fully aware of our selves as human beings, a spiritual being living carnal experiences. This state of higher awareness has been first described for the first time in the 40’s of the previous century.
It makes sense when we consider the other dimensions to be levels of perception of things. When we live through enough chronological events in one (or more, if we believe in the pulgatory and reincarnation) lifetime we may reach a state of reflection about life, evolution, the universe and our consciousness that goes a step beyond the mere observation of things in 3D and rationalization of events for survival and procreation only.
The higher conscience is an unique experience in which the human being looses fear for shortages and even death, learning to see itself and the entire existence from an eternal perspective. Such person enjoys a state of happiness without expecting anything, a state of having it all without possessing anything, a state of permanent satisfaction and yet an urge to make the best of the carnal life. To me that is the fifth dimension into which I personally broke through myself for the first time in 1996 but fell back into the fourth again. It was surprisingly fearful for me to let go of fear. In 2003 I broke through again and this time I stayed. I see life and the human being in a totally different way now and also behave and reflect differently.
Evolution:
These dimensions of perception also represent an evolutionary process that has not yet been studied scientifically. Science tends to study our material environment in great detail but not our energetic reality, awareness, spirituality or consciousness in different levels. Some scientists claim that awareness is just a trick that our brain plays on us. Indeed this is true when we use our two eyes to produce a 3D reflection of reality. We only perceive reality when we develop a level of reflective experience. We can then trick ourselves by observing our surroundings in a particular way. We can’t be sure that what we see really is what we think it is. It is all a matter of interpretation against a set of mental assumptions that we individually make with 3D perception. 4D hence is the level of curiosity to add perspective to varify that what we perceive is actually what it really is. In that sense time, death, magnetism, space, etc are all instruments for 4th dimensional awareness development. They are ALL the 4th dimension (length, width, depth and intelligent, interactive space in perceptive awareness).
It is not uncommon that we get into situations of individual and collective crises in our fourth dimension of searching for the universal truth while often sticking to the material 3D perceived “security” of survival rather than developing a conscious 4D reflective and interactive life with space.
When one breaks through into the higher conscience, say the fifth dimension, the misterious fourth dimension, including the erratic, often disputable behavior of human beings, suddenly makes sense. 4D represents our self-consciousness, the confusion we live with when we live a conscious learning life, asking ourselves all kinds of existential questions. The fourth dimension is a learning process of perception that goes beyond the physical bounderies of materialism. We gradually discover time, spirituality, parallel universes and how to deal with the letting go process, including carnal death and fear. The fourth dimension is the search phase that ends when we break through, open our inner extra “eyes” and suddenly “understand”. Then we have reached what some call the inner illumination, the fifth level of awareness. We live life in 5D.
The question that then arises is: “has the fifth dimension always existed in the universe, waiting for some species to break through? Or is this some evolutionary step that humankind adds to the universe?” In other words, is the universe conscious or unconscious, or is just humankind becoming conscious, making the universe conscious through us for the first time? The answer would suggest that the universe itself is alive not just “life within a dead universe”.
The fact that we, human beings, are capable of reaching the fifth dimension suggests that it has always existed. This brings everything into perspective, even the big bang theory and that what “is” is. It also brings back our God belief suggesting that the comfort of 5D is the beginning of even a larger quest up to 10D. Can we become God? Or are we already God but need to learn to perceive it by reaching 10D?
Another question arises in the 3D and 4D world. Can we live and organize ourselves in a carnal way using this fifth dimension of awareness as an extra establishment or guidance in our society? Would that help us solve the human issues of crises produced by the limitations of the fourth dimension? Can we educate people towards the fifth dimension and produce world peace that way? In my STIR foundation we make an attempt because I believe that we have reached a point in time that many people are breaking through and others just need a little help as they are so close. I also believe that sustainocracy is a way to organize society from a 5D perspective.
Could we expand our universal horizons from a higher level of consciousness? Is the fifth dimension confined just to us or can other species break through too? The latter is why we partner up with our surrounding in sustainocracy and start reasoning from the Whole (5D) instead of fragmented parts (3D).
I am curious about your reflection on the subject.
2012 forecasts – the revolution of the concience
Here is the forecast for 2012 based on the model of the human complexities (“The Global Shift, a quantum leap in human evolution“, chapter 2, 2011) and related to the four quadrants that occupy our world in transformation the coming decade.
1. The big splash
Most of our world economies are anchored in the unsustainable quadrant of greed. The credit crisis blew a big hole in the financial hot air balloon that was being filled up by governments, banks and business enterprises. The patchworks of capital injections don’t stop the system from collapsing simply because the collapse is part of a transformation and not a temporary recession. Many organizations and governments become aware of this but feel the burden of the old world still strongly present and are reluctant to take action, hoping for some miracle to happen still. Their professional mission is also to try to keep things going as it was against all odds.
The current world organization is historically fragmented into a network of geographic and business interests with money driven banks that are all linked up in a financial system. In such fragmented, money driven global society we see all the institutions take measures to save their own position, often at the expense of others. It seems all part of the game in which we see the worst of people dominate the scenes with tricks and manipulations to uphold old positions. Meanwhile the perspective of progress is lost out of sight. The consequences are that many institutions fail and crumble into sudden death due to lack of support, competitive strength, slow reaction time or total lack of sustainable basis.
Governments try to keep disaster away by injecting money they do not have, into old systems that do not solve anything anymore, just maybe increase the problem. And if no value is created there is nothing else to sustain the institutions than the injections that just delay their ending a bit more. More and more governments will go bankrupt or will try to slow down the inevitable by some measures (like economic reforms, raising taxes or whatever).
All banks have a large financial bubble that cannot be resolved so they only still remain in the picture because of the ties they have with in the form of debts that the public cannot and will not pay anymore forcing the banks into control of governments who placed trust in them with social security instruments. They fear loosing those too and with it the electoral support of their democratic backing. The outstanding loans of the banks have hardly any collateral anymore. They fall over further in 2012. More and more banks will not be able to comply with their obligations to the public that has its savings in it.
Businesses will try to go greener and greener, not just for marketing sake but also necessarily to compensate the competition for resources that outsizes the competition for sales. Products become more expensive in the markets of basic human needs. The green products do not stop the over- consumption that is still being stimulated by economies of growth, which eventually will create a further inflation due to a demand and growing shortages in deliveries. Prices rise and people cannot afford anymore their basic needs unless they get a higher personal debt which is unpayable already. The whole thing ends up in a big splash when all the global systems break their ties and focus on trying to do something about it locally.
2. Chaos
As the world’s large systems collapse along the line of organization complexities they enter the fragmented world of chaos where the local criminality and confrontations between people and systems grow, demanding local solutions around public safety, cohesion and integrity. The chaos in financial markets will be very large but isolated from the general public unless the systems place unjust dictatorial demands on the public (claiming taxes, mortgage funds, outstanding debts, etc) that will cause the rise of the masses against the systems. The public itself will also have plenty to demand that the old systems cannot give anymore s.a. pensions, social securities, insurance, etc. which will also get groups of people to the barricades.
The greatest problem in a situation of chaos is that groups of people try to take benefit of others through criminal activities and acts for survival. At the same time many will try to find others to blame for the entire situation. This entire process in a multicultural environment of migration is highly unstable and volatile. It will be highly dependent on the type of leadership that develops on extremely local basis to either escalate aggression or keep peace. All hopes are placed on the development of our consciousness, individually but also in the the institutions.
3. Awareness and consciousness
The positive thing is that this process is linear but affects people, countries and institutions in different phases. This means that many individuals already went through their personal chaos, process of letting go and enlightenment through the development of their consciousness. The growing amount of people with deep insight but also the cultural creatives that have views of the unsustainable situation of today, become representative of early experiments around creating a new type of society.
At this stage still it all depends on individuals, even people with a position in the established industries and governments who are standing up showing personal leadership in this complex situation. For quite some time new initiatives in the field of sustainable progress were crushed by the fearless and ruthless greedy systems of power in their attempt to keep their positions. This may still occur but more and more often we see the opposition grow using totally new instruments to organize the basics of a new society.
Most people and institutions do not want chaos, the threat of (civil) war or struggles around resources and gain insight rapidly. Businesses are repositioning themselves to serve a system by not producing products but sustainable results, involving many more people that strictly possible with the financial means they have. They start building on new value systems that are being developed together with the people who contribute to progress (instead of going to work. National governments loose control and need to allow local and regional governance to facilitate local for local recovery based on local self sufficiency and creation of local values.
What will happen with Europe? From an ideological point of view the concept of Europe was excellent but wrongly focused on financials and not on human progress. The financial Europe will necessarily collapse but the unity of Europe will eventually find some continuity in its own human consciousness of the need to develop global unity, not territorial fragmentation. This sustainable progress aspect of glocalization, local for local for global in a network of relations between self sufficient communities, can start in a new Europe.
The Euro will not be necessary in a world based on abundance of human talent and energy instead of the scarcity inherent to economics of growth. The development of content societies will create totally different needs and isolate the speculative systems that our now still powerfully in place. They are already under pressure living through their own shake out while respect and recognition for money itself and systems representing it, is rapidly deteriorating.
The revolution of the conscience will infect the entire global population as the pain of the old systems hits all people and the institutions. There will be large communities that may even not survive and the global human population will be reduced in the process. How much is difficult to say because it will also depend on the power of the grouping of the enlightened and the level of opposition or support received from the old establishments of remaining power and greed.
The revolution of the consciousness represents a new phase in human evolution and will go into our history as a decisive relatively short period of dramatic suffering, a collapse and recovery, but with a totally new elan of human continuity, respecting our species, its vulnerability, its relation with our natural environment and our evolutionary perspective.
In the end the revolution is the best thing that can happen to humankind but the suffering that will spread through the systems, societies and civilizations caused by the darkest side of human mentality, will be unprecedented in history too. There will hardly be any war but the conversion from total global financial dependencies to independence and self sufficiency is so intense that we will face important periods of structural shortages causing local panic, problems and signs of leadership and the lack thereof.
The long term peace that follows everything will not only be needed but will be secured by all involved to avoid new processes that have lead to the point of singularity and collapse. The global conscience will have made a giant leap that will not easily fall back in old human misbehavior. It will become the basis of a totally new phase in human progress.
And all this will happen in just a few decades and will be seen happening by most people that are alive today. The sooner one develops his or her own consciousness the sooner one can act accordingly.
