Equality, solidarity and love
Again the world is shocked by the events in Kabul, London and many other places. When we study the miracle of life at molecular or even smaller level we arrive at energetic patterns that we have associated with those intense feelings referred to as “love”. This largely inexplicable sensation unites molecules, people and species in a symbiotic bond for sustainable evolutionary progress. Over time people developed stories and rituals around it in an attemped to name the bonding as an act of a universal God. The diversity of these stories, captured in religious formats, is a blessing that unites people and establishes care, compassion and warm connectivity through habbits, festivities and rituals.
The beauty of this diversity of group unification is disturbed by people who use this diversity as a differentiation and judgement, often with self interests as motivator to create fear, disconnection, hate and chaos. Such conditions of instability may serve their specific evil interests over the back of our natural quest for peace and stability. There is only one way to address this attack on our natural wellness:
- We mourn our losses through moments of silence and reflection,
- We actively show equality, compassion and love by gathering and hugging each other publically no matter where we come from, what story we adhere to or how we stand in life. When it comes to safety and harmony we are in it together.
At 16.00 we gather to make this statement, no matter where we are in the world and repeat this as often as we need to show evil that love only strengthens when it shows its face.
City food security
Our City of Tomorrow menu this week consisted of products produced entirely in the city of Eindhoven as part of the sustainocratic cocreation program referred to as FRE2SH (Food, Recreation, Education, Energy, Security and Health). We ate eatable flowers, trout, parsley, lettuce, mushroom, honey, etc. A much larger variety is being developed over time by using the available indoor and outdoor city space effectively everywhere in a sustainocratic cooperative for sustainable human progress and city resilience.

Food resilience is key in modern smart city development. Current food supplies may seem to provide abundance but the production and distribution worldwide is destroying our landscapes and climate. FRE2SH uses the 4 x Value ideology with Sustainocratic cooperation between citizens, local government, innovative entrepreneurship and applied science to produce high impact local sustainable progress:
- Value for the human being (healthy food, engagement, awareness, security, less financial dependence, better nutrician)
- Value for society (job development, resilience, effective usage of space, reduced mobility, less bureaucracy, quality food supplies, circular economies)
- Value for the environment (less air pollution, less destruction of landscape, reduce ecological footprint, cyclic reuse of waste)
- Integral economic value (reduces societal costs, profitability by connection consumption directly with production, integrated process, holistic city eco system, circular economy, new local value sharing systems)
This way of working in a city is referred to as peer 4 regional development or the participatory society. It combines awareness, education, growth and sustainable human progress in a powerfull multidisciplinary interaction.

The art of awareness
What makes the DEEP LOOK film so special? It is not a film, it is a reflection about the art of observation. The art of awareness is the essence of life. Why would the universe exist if no one would be able to contemplate it? The entire purpose of any existence is that someone can enjoy watching it. DEEP LOOK observes people. Watch this trailer

Veysi, trying to look cool 😉
The film was made by Veysi, a turkish immigrant who grew up in The Hague, observing how society transformed from a mere Dutch white community into a multicultural colorful caleidoscope of people. Veysi was born deaf. This did not hinder him to finish his study cumlaude and dedicate 7 years of his life to make DEEP LOOK as a musical visual of people who crossed his path. Veysi presents his view in slow motion, allowing us to grasp emotions in great detail while making us reflect about the high speed pace in which we live our lives, missing the beauty of detail as we go.
For those of you who live too far from Eindhoven to come and enjoy this art form we share this visual song from Veysi
The film will be shown 4 saturdays in a row in Eindhoven in NatLab (May 6, 13, 20, 27). The 10€ fee is to cover the expense of renting the theatre for the show.
