For over 30 years I have developed Sustainocracy as a new evolutionary layer (layer 4) for our sustainable development as people, communities, cities, businesses and entire regions. This has been done in living lab environments with the involvement of governments, business entities, citizen initiatives, science and education. It became a co-creation movement with an upward, regenerative and participatory spiral. This warm engagement approach of mutual reinforcement through a meaningful and shared purpose is worth experiencing rather than reading about it. Only then it makes sense for application elsewhere in the world.

Cocreation: “When 1 plus 1 become much more than 2!”

We will take the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands as our source of reference and inspiration. The city went through various development stages since receiving its cityrights in 1252. In the 1990´s it was nearly bankrupt, with over 1 million square meteres of empty factory spaces, nearly 60% unemployed and the most unsafe and unhealthy place of Northwest Europe. In 2011 it was named the most intelligent region of the world. But intelligence is not the same as smart or sustainably wise. That process was started with the introduction of Sustainocracy. Today it is attracting people from all over the world and has modern challenges in all four layers of regional development. But the fourth one, the cocreation one based on Sustainocracy, makes a difference.

And that difference is what we want you to experience during this unique event.
